“Traditional lesson as a basis of educational system will not lose its significance. Today we have no pursuits in virtual lessons as schoolchild should communicate with his teacher directly. At the same time, with up-to-date technologies educational process will be enriched by interactive education methods considered an essential learning material,” the head of education department at the RA Education and Science Ministry Narine Hovhannisyan told NEWS.am-Innovation.
According to her, modern information technologies enable to run the labs virtually, for instance carrying out experiments in physics or chemistry. Thus, IT is of major importance in project works. Hovhannisyan says that schools will have computer labs in the next two years. Presently, 48 schools have computer labs thanks to state funds and WB assistance.
Hovhannisyan informed that the project stipulating computer skills development of primary schoolchildren is already introduced to the government.
