An exhibition of photos from Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh has been opened in Prague. The event has been organized by Garik Avanesyan, an Armenian photographer residing in Czech Republic. The photographer Veronika Saurayeva too presented the photos shot in Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh at the exhibition’s opening ceremony.

“One of the photos shows an Azerbaijani cemetery near Khachardzan village in Tavush region (Armenia). It also proves that Armenians do not destroy Azerbaijani cemeteries. In this context it is appropriate to mention the destroyed ancient Armenian cemetery and medieval khachkars (cross stones) in Old Jugha, modern Nakhchivan City,” Garik Avanesyam told NEWS.am. The exhibition will last till February 25.
