Georgian national communications commission appealed to cable TV companies recommending to cut Russian and Armenian TV channels’ off the air, Georgian Rezonansi daily reports.

Recommendations extend to Euronews, several Russian music channels and one Armenian television.

In return commission will shut eyes to license-free broadcasting for some time. After the commission sitting, representatives stated that bans were out of the question and it was a mere working meeting.
