Major car accident in Dagestan

November 14, 2009 a major car accident killed six people and wounded eight others on federal highway Sulak-Makhachkala, Dagestan, Interfax reports. The Ikarus bus heading from Makhachkala to Sulak collided with Kamaz truck and got burnt. However, the firemen could soon extinguish the fire.
Meanwhile, death toll reached 8, including 2 children, Vesti reports referring to Dagestan’s Interior Ministry. Eight wounded passengers were rushed to hospital.
The accident causes are being clarified. According to preliminary data, road traffic offense caused the accident.
