Russia is likely to join some projects in the frames of EU Eastern Partnership program, said Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.

“We will surely study the proposals on our involvement in certain projects in the frames of Eastern Partnership program. We do not rule out this possibility and make value-based consideration of each project,” Lavrov informed at the joint press conference with his Belarusian counterpart Sergei Martynov.

In his interview with Belarus journalists, RF President Dmitry Medvedev stated he does not consider participation of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine and Belarus in the program conflicting with Russia’s interests.
