The United Nations nuclear regulatory agency passed the resolution condemning Iran of its nuke activities, the Voice of America reports. The IAEA demanded that Iran freeze the construction of the second nuclear site.
25 members of International Atomic Energy Agency's board voted for the resolution.
The document was drafted by six world powers — UK, China, France, Germany, Russia and the U.S. to be introduced to the IAEA board.
Meanwhile, Iran claimed IAEA should not make threats, the Haaretz daily reports, referring to IRNA news agency, quoting Iran’s Ambassador to IAEA Ali-Asghar Soltanieh, “We recommend the IAEA not to refer to such methods and use the language of logic rather than force.”
