November 24-27, 2009 RA Culture Minister Hasmik Poghosyan visited Italy to participate in the General Assembly of International Centre for the Study and the Preservation and Restoration of Cultural Property (ICCROM).

Poghosyan also had meetings with ICCROM Director General Munir Bushenaki and Italian Culture Minister Sandro Bondi.

The issues on organization of joint congresses and preservation of Armenian cultural heritage were discussed in the course of the meeting. RA Culture Minister invited Bushenaki to Armenia to specify the cooperation fields and design new projects.

November 25, Hasmik Poghosyan met with her Italian counterpart Sandro Bondi. The officials canvassed expansion of Armenian-Italian cultural cooperation, as well as issues on cultural events’ organization in Italy and Armenia.
