YEREVAN. – Armenian opposition Heritage Party does not call to forget Armenian former three presidents, they must be praised for their accomplishments and must be criticizes for failures, the leader of Heritage Party Raffi Hovhannisian told Armenian News-NEWS.am, answering to the question whether the nation is ready to respond to his call and thank the former presidents but open a new way for Armenia.

According to Hovhannisian, the nation and the political figures, including the presidents, must understand that they are on the threshold of a New Armenia.

To note, the First President of Armenia Levon Ter-Petrosyan leads opposition Armenian National Congress, the second President Robert Kocharyan is not involved in politics anymore and the third President Serzh Sargsyan is the incumbent President of Armenia.

Opposition Heritage Party is a liberal party founded in 2002. The leader is the first Armenian Foreign Minister Raffi Hovannisian.

Heritage and Free Democrats Party are running for the parliament with joint proportional list. 

The proportional list of the party includes members of extra-parliamentary opposition Free Democrats Party and civil society representatives.

Heritage has also nominated MP candidates with the majority election system.
