TBILISI. – Armenian Ambassador to Georgia Hovhannes Manukyan met on Tuesday with the Minister of Culture and Monument Protection of Georgia Nikoloz Rurua.

The both parties stressed the important meaning of cooperation on the Armenian-Georgian cultural field, Armenian MFA informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.

They discussed the realization of joint cultural projects this year, including events on the 20th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between Georgia and Armenia, as well as Armenian great poet Sayat-Nova’s 300th anniversary.

The Ambassador offered to promote the works for preserving and renovating the Armenian Churches in Georgia.
