Students, youth and community members gathered at the Hollywood Armenian Center for the screening of Roger Kupelian’s award-winning documentary Dark Forest in the Mountains, Asbarez reports.

Originally filmed in 1994 the documentary tells the history of the region, the preparations for the war for Nagorno-Karabakh’s Liberation. Movie features digital animation, expert interviews and shootings at the places.

The film was produced and edited by Roger Kupelian, an experienced expert on Hollywood visual effects who has worked on films like The Lord of the Rings, Alice in Wonderland, Men in Black 3 and his latest project East of Byzantium.
