Average wage in Armenia and CIS countries – data

The CIS Inter-state Statistics Committee published facts about average wages in CIS countries including Armenia. As of January, 2012, the average wage in Armenia was AMD 112 thousand ($295). With this result Armenia ranks 6th among the CIS countries.

The highest wage is in Russia - around $795 - followed by Kazakhstan ($630) and Azerbaijan ($470).

The lowest wage is paid in Tajikistan ($110).
