YEREVAN. – Former world middleweight boxing champion Arthur Abraham joined the “Never Again” project launched by Armenian People’s Artist, and “Artists for Peace” international charitable organization’s founder Flora Martirosyan.

By joining Martirosyan’s project, world-renowned musicians, artists, and athletes aim to yet again sever—in the lead-up to 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide—the international community’s attention to the Genocide and the violence being carried out against humanity.

“I join the ‘Never Again’ project and condemn the crimes against humanity, including the Armenian Genocide. I stand ready to exert all my efforts to the recognition, condemnation, and prevention of genocides. Peace to all!”, said Arthur Abraham.

During the meeting in Armenia’s capital Yerevan, Flora Martirosyan gave Abraham details on the “Never Again” project. Also, she noted that the “Never Again” peace concerts, which got underway in Los Angeles on November 1, will continue in Russia, Europe, countries of the East, and, in 2015—that is, on the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide—in Armenia.

At the Los Angeles concert, several renowned personalities, such as famous recording artist Eric Benet, Hollywood actor and poet Michael Stone (actress Sharon Stone’s brother), and international superstar Stevie Wonder had said “no” to the Armenian Genocide.
