YEREVAN.- Gender difference is unacceptable, Heritage Party’s election program contains a point on equal opportunities for all, said parliamentary candidate from Heritage Party Izabella Abgaryan.

During Wednesday’s debate among the women who are included in the political parties’ lists for the upcoming parliamentary elections, Abgaryan said she is representing a party where female MPs are working equally, sometimes more active than men.

“They showed what a woman is capable of and inspired many women. I am one of them,” she added.

She pointed out a choice between career and family as one of the key problems. Izabella Abgaryan said that sometimes women refuse to have children being afraid of losing their job.

Heritage Party offers several programs, including amendments to labor legislation, to tackle this problem, she wrote.
