YEREVAN. – Poland days are starting in Armenia. As the Polish Ambassador to Armenia Zdzislaw Raczynski told reporters, several cultural events will take place on April 25 - May 31.

The first event is to take place at 7.00 p.m. on Wednesday at the House-Museum of Aram Khachaturian. A lecture will be held about modern Polish literature by Zbigniew Herbert.

On Thursday at the same place a collection of Polish 20th century poems translated to Armenian will be presented.

In the framework of the Polish days in Armenia Polish films will also be screened.

Polish poems will be posted on the walls of Yerevan city subway throughout the Poland days in Armenia.
