We continue to obligate peace, Armenia’s President and leader of the ruling coalition’s senior partner—the Republican Party of Armenia—Serzh Sargsyan said Wednesday, meeting with the voters in Abovyan city along the lines of campaigning for the country’s National Assembly elections on Sunday, and reflecting on Armenia’s national security.

“A tremendous work was carried out during the past term, and as a result a balance was secured with the likely adversary. The state’s defensive capacity has sharply increased. We continue to obligate peace. This is the greatest and the key result. We will maintain and strengthen this result. Vigilance and alertness will not be relaxed,” the President said.

In Serzh Sargsyan’s words, “tomorrow we will have a better protected, more invulnerable Armenia, [and] a more secure citizen. This requires all our efforts’ mobilization around Armenian statehood.”
