Kim Kardashian’s address on the occasion of the 97th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide has been posted on Glendale City’s YouTube channel.

Although Kim failed to visit commemorative event she sent her regrets and created a video to present during the event. It was not aired due to technical reasons but then appeared on the internet, Glendale News-Press reports.

In her address she noted that 1.5 million of men, women and children were massacred by the hands of the Ottoman Turks.

She called to join commemoration of the Genocide victims on April 24 quoting famous American philosopher and writer George Santayana who said “Those who do not remember the past are condemned to repeat it.”
