YEREVAN.- The Armenian Emergency Situations Ministry says according to preliminary data 144 were injured in the balloon blast which occurred in the Republic Square, Yerevan on Friday.

Healthcare Minister Harutyun Kushkyan said there are no severe injuries, people got light and medium injuries. Doctors are trying to render medical and psychological assistance.

The incident occurred during the rally of the Republican Party of Armenia.
