Electoral Commission Head fell into convulsions and was hospitalized in ArmeniaMay 06, 2012 | 20:28

YEREVAN. – The Electoral Commission Head of polling station 6/07 Azat Grigoryan did not feel himself well, the Electoral Commission Head of polling district 6 Arsen Soghomonyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

According to him, the commission head fell into epileptic convulsion and was hospitalized. After receiving aid he returned.

The voting process interrupted for some time but it was not canceled, the secretary continued to supervise the election process.

Eight political parties and one block have presented their nominations – Republican Party of Armenian, Prosperous Armenia Party, Orinats Yerkir, opposition Armenian National Congress, opposition Heritage Party, ARF Dashnaktsutyun, the Communist Party of Armenia, Democratic Party of Armenia and United Armenians Party.

For entering a 131-seat National Assembly, parties must poll over 5% of votes, while blocks - over 7%.
