UN Committee on Torture will consider report of Armenia during its session on May 10 and 11.

The state periodic report on implementation of the Convention against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment will be considered within the framework 48th session held in Geneva from May 7 to June 1.

The Committee will also consider reports of Andorra, Cuba, Canada, Czech Republic, Greece, Rwanda and Syria.

The text of the Convention was adopted by the UN General Assembly on December 10, 1984.
