YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Urban Development Minister Vardan Vardanyan—who is a passing third in the Prosperous Armenia Party’s (PAP) proportional election list and who headed the PAP Campaign Headquarters during the recent parliamentary election season—will soon quit his minister’s job and stay in his party. Vardanyan himself told this to Armenian News-NEWS.am and added that he has not yet decided on his future course of action.

“I cannot decide this soon. Thank God I am able to work, and a job will be found. I have not yet thought about this,” he noted.

And in response to the query as to whether all PAP-member ministers would resign from their offices, Vardan Vardanyan said he believed all of them will quit.

To note, the PAP has four ministers and two regional governors serving in the current government. Sport and Youth Affairs Minister Arthur Petrosyan and Labor and Social Affairs Minister Arthur Grigoryan already have announced that they will resign from their capacities as ministers.
