YEREVAN. – Armenian Public Television still to decide on broadcasting the Eurovision 2012 song contest from Baku.

“The contest is likely to be broadcasted,” head of the Armenian delegation Gohar Gasparyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The agency managed to disclose that it will start at 11.00 p.m. on local time on Saturday and the only thing to be sure of broadcasting is to switch on the TV at the aforesaid hour.

Earlier a group of Armenian singers have turned to the Public Television calling not to participate in the contest in a state like Azerbaijan, which is notorious for having slaughtered Armenians in 1988. Afterwards, Armenia withdrew candidacy of participation and instead had to pay fines.
