YEREVAN.- Armenian Premier Tigran Sargsyan has handed in resignation of the cabinet to the President.

The first session of the Armenian parliament was held on Thursday. Under the first point of Article 55 of the RA Constitution the government must hand in resignation.

The cabinet members have to perform their duties until the new government is formed, Sargsyan said at the meeting on Thursday.
