YEREVAN. – The US dollar finally began weakening in Armenia’s financial market.

Its average exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) comprised AMD 412.95/$1, at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange on Thursday, and this is a 0.43-percent—or a 1.78-point—drop from the previous trading session on Wednesday.

And the stock exchange closed the day’s session at AMD 412.5/$1.

The total sales were $6.4 million.

And in Armenia’s cash foreign currency market, most banks reduced the dollar’s purchase exchange rate all the way to AMD 410-411/$1 and it is sold at a minimum of AMD 413.5/$1.
