YEREVAN. – During January-April 2012, individuals conducted transfers for non-commercial purposes through the banking system worth of $ 388 million, Armenia’s Central Bank reports.
Compared to last year the transfers grew by $30 million or by 8.4 percent.
Reduction is observed in the transfer rates. Russia continues to be the main source of transfers to Armenia. During January – April $317, million entered from Russia to Armenia. From the United States $24.8 million entered Armenia.
$562 thousand entered Armenia from Turkey.
