HANOI. – Armenian FM Edward Nalbandian, within the delegation headed by the President of Armenia, met with his Vietnamese counterpart Pham Binh Minh in Hanoi on Friday.

The ministers, continuing the dialogue launched this February, stated that the 20th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations is marked with significant event for development of bilateral cooperation, including the visit of the Armenian President. The latter’s visit is a good opportunity to hold high level discussions and arrange further cooperation reinforcement and enlargement.

The sides also discussed establishment of cooperation between the two MFAs, enlargement of legal-contractual field, intensification of cultural exchanges, simplification of visa regime, cooperation and mutual support in international agencies.

The FMs exchanged thoughts on the international problems and their settlement.
