YEREVAN. – The 17th session of the Armenian National Movement Party is to be held at some time during the second half of September 2012, the decision was made on Friday at the joint seating of ANM board and council.

As the press service of the party informs Armenian News-NEWS.am, the results of the May 6 parliamentary elections and the current political situation in the country were discussed during the seating.

The upcoming elections of local authorities and ANM’s participation in them were also discussed.

To note, Armenian National Movement, which was a ruling party in Armenian in 1990s, is currently a member party of opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC). The leader of ANC is Armenia’s First President Levon Ter-Petrosyan.
