Incidents on borderline not connected to Azerbaijan’s domestic policy – Italian

00:51, 09.06.2012 Region: Armenia, Karabakh, Azerbaijan Theme: Politics

YEREVAN. - The incidents on the border line are not connected to Azerbaijan’s domestic policy, expert on the Caucasus and Central Asia programs at the Italian Research Institute on Foreign Policy Carlo Frappi told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

“Even though the conflict emerged from the times as the Soviet Union split up, the central element of the Azerbaijani nationalism and of the recent tragic events is a direct consequence of the situation becoming increasingly intolerant,” the expert announced. According to the expert, now all efforts are needed in order to solve the issue.
