YEREVAN. – Armenia’s newly-appointed Sport and Youth Affairs Minister Hrachya Rostomyan is well known in sports—he was captain of the national basketball team; Armenian News-NEWS.am—and he is a skilled organizer, too, PM Tigran Sargsyan stated Monday while introducing the new Minister to the Ministry staff.  

“Even though he is young, he has a huge track-record in sports. [And] His young age recalls us that he is likewise well informed of the issues that concern the youth,” said the PM.  

Also, Sargsyan thanked former Minister Arthur Petrosyan for his activities.  

In his turn, Hrachya Rostomyan stated his readiness to fulfill the Government’s programs, since he is well aware of the situation and has a clear view of the ways in which the respective problems can be resolved.
