Yerevan to mark World Music Day

YEREVAN. – The annual World Music Day (Fête de la Musique) organized by the French Embassy in Armenia will be celebrated with a concert on Thursday at Yerevan’s Liberty Square.

To note, every year the French Ministry of Culture organizes a music holiday which brings together professional and amateur musicians and singers to celebrate the holiday of live music.

It is being celebrated in Armenia since 2007. The events are monitored by the French Embassy in Armenia, the Armenian Ministry of Culture and Yerevan City Hall.

This year the World Music Day is dedicated to the 50th anniversary of pop music.

Image Band, Lav Eli, The Beautified Project bands and also participants of Armenian Superstar Contest will perform during the concert.
