YEREVAN.-A rally of the opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC) kicked off in Liberty Square of Yerevan on Tuesday.

First President of Armenia and ANC leader Levon Ter-Petrosyan, MPs from ANC bloc and leaders of ANC member parties are on the platform.

Opening the rally, chairman of Armenian National Movement board Aram Manukyan said he is satisfied with ANC’s work in the parliament

“Seven MPs delivered ten reports in the parliament over two days,” he stressed adding that some coalition members, Ministers gave appraisal of their work as well.

In his turn, MP Nikol Pashinyan touched upon the March 1 case saying the killing of ten people had not been investigated so far. According to him, ANC is the only force capable of resisting “illegal actions of the leadership.”

Armenian National Congress (ANC) is an opposition bloc founded in 2008 after presidential elections. During the August 1, 2008, rally in Yerevan the first President of Armenia and ANC leader Levon Ter-Petrosyan announced formation of the bloc. ANC comprises 18 parties and political forces.
