LOS ANGELES. - System of a Down celebrity rock singer Serj Tankian shares his attitude on reality show topic, which was touched upon in one of his songs of the recent album Harakiri.

Musical site loudwire.com which claimed that the only Armenian-Americans more famous in the States than System of a Down are the Kardashians asked about his song Reality TV. Tankian responded that a journalist friend has asked him whether he could have described reality TV as cultural ‘Harakiri.’ The idea sounded quite interesting for Tankian.

“I think the song ‘Reality TV’ is more a statement about society because anyone can make horrible television – it takes millions of people to make it successful so I think the joke it not necessarily on the actors; the joke is on the audience ultimately,” the singer stated adding that says more about it than the ‘actors’ on the shows.
