STEPANAKERT. - President of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Bako Sahakyan received president of the Armenian National Academy of Sciences, academician Radik Martirosyan.

A wide range of issues concerning the current state and development perspectives of science in the Republic were discussed during the meeting. Special attention was paid to the field of research and its practical application.

President Sahakyan underlined the crucial importance of effective application of Armenia’s scientific potential and the need of further expanding mutual cooperation with the Armenian National Academy of Sciences.

NKR Minister of Education and Science Vladik Khachatryan and other officials participated in the meeting.
