Newly elected President of Egypt Mohamed Morsi has ordered to resume the meetings of the National Assembly, which was dissolved in June.

Assistant to the President Yasir Ali reported on his Facebook page, that the current staff of National Assembly would fulfill its responsibilities until the new elections.

According to analysts, it threatens the fragile situation in the country, as the initiator of the dissolving the  parliament was Egypt’s Supreme Council of the armed forces.

Egypt’s Supreme Council of the armed forces convened emergency session at night to discuss the decree of Mohamed Morsi, gazeta.ru reports.
