Armenia highly estimates relations with Iran – parliament speaker

YEREVAN. – Armenian Parliament Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan received Iranian Interior Minister Mostafa Mohammad Najjar on Monday. As the press service of the Armenian Parliament informed Armenian, Hovik Abrahamyan assured that Mohammad Najjar’s visit to Armenia will further deepen the relations between Armenia and Iran.

Hovik Abrahamyan highly estimated the relations with Iran stating that Armenian – Iranian relations are developing in all directions. The Iranian official agreed with Hovik Abrahamyan stating that the countries must work on promoting economic relations which do not correspond to the high level of political relations. Other matters of interest were also discussed during the meeting.
