The official opening of Stanisław Pindera’s photo exhibition, entitled “Armenia: Stones Outlive People,” was held on July 8 in Sieradz, Poland.

The event was held under the patronage of honor by Armenia’s Ambassador to Poland, Ashot Galoyan, and Cardinal Zenon Grocholewski, envoy of the Pope, Prefect of the Congregation for Catholic Education, and Grand Chancellor of the Pontifical Gregorian University.

And in connection with the exhibition’s opening, Cardinal Grocholewski celebrated a Holy Mass, and his sermon was devoted to the Armenian people. Highly appreciating the role of the Armenian Church and people in spreading Christianity and forming the modern-day civilization, Grocholewski expressed a conviction that the sister churches will further integrate.

A formal reception was held following the exhibition’s official opening.
