GYUMRI. – Armenia’s Gyumri city Mayor Vardan Ghukasyan, who also heads the Shirak Regional Chapter of the ruling Republican Party (RPA), submitted his resignation from heading the Chapter, shirakcentre.org informs.

As a result, Shirak Regional Hall’s Department of Education Chief Sahak Minasyan will head the Chapter. RPA Vice Chairman and National Assembly Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan chaired the Chapter’s session.
