GYUMRI. – Hundreds of families in Armenia having lived in temporary shelters for 24 years due to the 1988 earthquake will not receive new apartments.

The reason is that the commission dealing with the distribution of apartments in Armenia’s Gyumri city has rejected their application for various reasons. Those families will remain in the list of homeless people, however, their applications have already been rejected.

The Shirak center continues to visit such families and study their cases and housing conditions. Armenian News-NEWS.am presents the video story of the Tarboshyan family with two underage children, who have also been rejected of receiving an apartment.
