A new earthquake rattled the eastern Turkish city of Van, as a magnitude-4.3 tremor was recorded Wednesday at 1:50am local time.

But there are no reports so far on any casualties or destruction, Anadolu News Agency informs.

To note, these underground shakings are jolting Turkey’s Van Province ever since last October. The major earthquakes that hit Van on October 23 and November 9, 2011, had claimed 672 lives and injured more than 6,000 people. Also, numerous aftershocks followed these quakes. A total of 2,262 buildings were destroyed as a result.
