YEREVAN. – A new checkpoint Bagratashen-Sadakhlo is opened for exploitation in the north-east of Armenia border with Georgia. The opening ceremony of the checkpoint was held on Thursday, Armenian National Security Service reports.

According to the statement, the old gearbox were replaced with new ones, and instead of the two checkpoints, there are five new ones.

The new checkpoint is fully equipped and meets the international standards, which enable the vehicle passengers to cross the border sitting in the car. Besides, one checkpoint may serve two vehicles simultaneously, which will avoid congestion and vehicles’ queuing.
