TBILISI. – Total of 2,211,201 foreigners has visited Georgia from January to July, which is by 54 percent more, as compared to the same period last year.
520,707 foreigners have visited Georgia only in July, which is by 56 percent more, as compared to the same period last year, Georgian MFA reports quoting the border police.
The Georgian Ministry also stresses that number of the visitors from neighboring states, including Turkey, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Russia and Iran, is steadily increasing.
Turkey (126 percent), Russia (91 percent) and Poland (81 percent) were distinguished with the number of visitors in July.
