Major car accident kills four in Gyumri

GYUMRI.- Four people were killed in a major car accident in Gyumri, Armenia’s second largest city.

The alert was received at about 4 a.m. on Wednesday, emergency situations ministry said.

Firemen and rescuers left for the accident site. Mercedes crashed into a wall of flower store. The driver, Mkrtich Minasyan (born in 1988) and two passengers died at the site. Another passenger was seriously injured.

The rescuers took out the bodies and injured passenger from the car. The passenger died on the way to hospital.
