Major quake hit Iran, felt in Armenia

A 6.6 magnitude earthquake hit Iran’s north-west on Saturday. The earthquake was registered not far from Armenia’s city of Kapan. The hypocenter was 67 kilometers beneath the surface.

The quake was felt in Armenia’s south and in Yerevan.
