YEREVAN. – Armenian National Assembly’s discussion agenda includes the Government’s 2011 report on the state budget, Haykakan Zhamanak daily writes.

“In line with that report, the Government of Armenia has underperformed the 2011 State Budget’s revenue. Close to AMD 881 billion [approx. $2,150,808,632] were collected for the State Budget in the case when more than AMD 883 billion [approx. $2,155,691,285] were envisioned.

But what’s more important is that shadow economy in Armenia has expanded further, and this becomes apparent from the [Budget’s] tax portion’s indicator in the GDP,” Haykakan Zhamanak writes.
