YEREVAN. – By making a change in one of its earlier-accepted decisions, the Government of Armenia declared valid—still for a one-year term in Armenia—the driver licenses of Syria’s Armenian citizens, on the condition that these licenses are replaced after one year, and pursuant to the law.

In this connection, PM Tigran Sargsyan noted that the Government is trying to create all the conditions for Syrian Armenians so they can easily adjust to the new situation for them, the Government press service informs.

Separately, making redistribution in the 2012 State Budget, the Government also decided to improve the technical equipping of the Police Force, and therefore allocated AMD 105.2 million (approx. $256,383) to this end.
