YEREVAN. – Armenian capital city Yerevan apartments’ average market prices have risen by 1.8 percent in the second quarter of 2012, as compared with the first quarter of the current year, the State Committee of Real Estate Cadastre informs.

Specifically, the average market value for one square meter of Yerevan’s multi-residential building apartments comprises AMD 254,800 (approx. $623), as compared with AMD 250,400 (approx. $612) in the first quarter. Nonetheless, the apartment prices are still lower than the average value in the second quarter of 2011, which was AMD 257,100 (approx. $629).

Also, the number of sale-and-purchase deals of multi-residential building apartments in Yerevan grew by 4.2 percent in the second quarter of 2012, as compared with the first quarter of the year, but reduced by 19.1 percent, as compared with the second quarter of 2011.
