PARIS. – French and Azerbaijani presidents discussed key international issues at the Elysee Palace on Wednesday. The French President Francois Hollande called his Azerbaijani counterpart Ilham Aliyev to take necessary measures in restoring trust with Armenia and to encourage completion of negotiations on Nagorno-Karabakh peace process within the OSCE Minsk Group, the Elysee Palace reports.

To note, French-Armenians held a protest action in front of the Azerbaijani Embassy in Paris on Tuesday against pardoning Azeri murderer Ramil Safarov, who killed Armenian lieutenant Guren Margaryan in 2004 in Budapest and was extradited to Baku on Aug. 31.
