YEREVAN. – By purchasing national products citizens will support country’s independence, Armenian Consumers’ Union NGO head Armen Poghosyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am on the occasion of the Day of Independence.
The Union has been operating with the motto ‘By respecting ourselves, we purchase our products’ since 1990s and call on to continue following it.
“The producer is obliged to maintain quality of the products. But if the consumer tends to buy goods and services produced in the country, s/he ultimately contributes to its strengthening. And this may be called advantage of the consumer,” Poghosyan added.
