TBILISI. – It is yet too early to make any forecasts about the results of the parliamentary elections in Georgia, head of the Multi-National Georgia civil movement Arnold Stepanyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

According to him, Georgian society is in shock due to the videos revealing the violence towards the arrested in the Gldan prison of Georgia and it did influence on the election agitation.

In response to the question whether the Georgian-Armenians will support the incumbent authorities in the upcoming elections, he said that it is not necessary true as people rather rely on the opposition bloc Georgian Union in Tbilisi and other major cities.

As the agency informed earlier, there are 14 parties and two political blocs participating in the elections. The main struggle is expected between the ruling United National Movement party and opposition Georgian Dream bloc.
