STEPANAKERT. – Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) President Bako Sahakyan on Sunday received Armenia’s Central Bank Chairman Arthur Javadyan.

Following the tête-à-tête meeting, the talks were held in an extended format, with participation by the Armenian bank system delegation members.

Cooperation between the two Armenian states in the sphere of banking was discussed during this meeting, Central Information Department of the Office of the NKR President informs.

President Sahakyan noted that the banks of Armenia play a tangible role in virtually all domains of NKR economy, and this positively impacts Karabakh’s progress.

NKR PM Ara Harutunyan, Minister of Finance and Economy Spartak Tevosyan, and other officials likewise attended the discussion.
