BERLIN. – Turks glorify Erdogan as a great Fuehrer of the world, the German Welt newspaper reports commenting on Turkish incumbent PM Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s victory on Sept. 30, when he was elected president of the Justice and Development party for the third time.

Turkey has changed just on the contrary, it was striving to join the EU in 2000s, while now Erdogan did not even mention the EU. Media outlets of Islamic orientation were reporting proudly that over 200 foreign delegates were present at the re-election of Erdogan, however, they, except for German former Chancellor Gerhard Schröder, were all Muslims, the newspaper wrote adding Turkey still continues to accuse the EU for the EU Council presidency of the Greek Cyprus.  

Erdogan wants to become the Fuehrer of the whole or at least the Arab world. Time will show whether he would manage, the newspaper concluded.
